Happy New Year - After 10 days off work I return to the office. My day starts with a cup of coffee and a clear desktop, but it doesn't take long and paperwork is scattered about. The phone is ringing, I find out I will have unexpected visitors arriving shortly. Travel arrangements need to be cancelled, but new arrangements for two others need to be made. Hotel bookings, car rentals, recognition of several employees need to be scheduled, calendars for 2010 need to updated for the entire year...and the list goes on. I ask myself, "Another year begins, and WHY are you doing this?". And soon the answer comes floating to my brain, so easy I really didn't have to think that much, and I hear myself saying, it really is good to be back among so many friends, smiling faces, people who really care about me...God, I thank you for this day of life - Thank You
